Under the ownership of Simon Willson-White and chef Thomas Conway, The Seven Tuns in Chedworth is raising the bar for superb hospitality and cuisine in its unique Cotswold setting. Not only are Simon and Tom passionate about creating a distinctive, stylish village pub, but they also aim to weave sustainability into all aspects of the business.

In Summer 2019 I was asked to produce a pollinator-friendly planting scheme to complement improvements being made to the terrace.  The brief was to provide ‘wow-factor’ colour from spring through to the end of autumn, not just easy evergreen planting. Later in the year we added a specimen crab apple tree in the lawn to be a feature for years to come. Work has continued in 2020 and 21 with new planting for the shaded area of terrace behind the willow tree, a beech hedge to screen off the car park from the gardens and replanting the main flower beds at the front with standard hollies, roses and lavender.
